It is my belief that a plant-based diet is not only good for the body, but for the mind and soul as well. When a person consumes meat, they are consuming everything that lived in the body of that animal moments before it’s death. Fear, confusion and stress…they are literally eating negative energy!
Every cell of that meat was overwhelmed with trauma just before getting packaged up for the grocery store. It’s no wonder meat-eaters are so often diagnosed with heart disease and high blood pressure.
Now think about what fruits and vegetables soak up just before getting picked…that’s right, sunshine! A plant-based diet leads to a disease-free life. To quote Dr. James Bennie, “In the world of medicine, if I can put you on a pill, I can see you every 3 months for the rest of your life…That’s how we make money in medicine. If I put you on a plant-based diet, I probably won’t see you again.” Enough said!
Living on a plant based diet has created a new type of inner-peace within me that I didn’t expect. I’m sure many vegans would agree. The idea of your own existence causing no harm to other living creatures…it creates a cycle of positivity within you. Because you’re eating consciously, you begin to live more consciously as well. I personally began taking more caution with my own household waste management by recycling. I’ve also become more conscious of doing simple acts of kindness on a daily basis. Yoga and exercise has become a regular part of my routine, where it never was before. I’ve even begun volunteering at a local youth center! What you consume most definitely has energy. That energy tends to manifest, whether it’s good or bad.
What acts of kindness have you done lately, vegan friends? Leave me some comments, I’d love to hear from you!
